I have a question for those of you with Onespot Foxfaces.
I bought him from my LFS last Friday, healthy, eating, bright eyed and bushy tailed. He was in a 55 gallon tank with about 3 other of his kind. I acclimated him properly, and once he got in the tank he started nipping at the algea. He did however swim over to the right side of the tank and patroled it very religioulsy - up and down, up and down - to what seemed like his own reflection. Every once in awhile he'd throw up his back spines for a split second.
He has continued to do this patroling since Friday. Very rarely does he leave that side of the tank. Other fish swim near him and he doesn't care.
He eats when I put food in the tank, but doesn't really nip at algea anymore. Should I be worried? Is he going to continually chase his own reflection?
