Can i put a Foxface Lo with my two clownfish and flame angel?

I will be getting a bigger tank soon(sept-oct), probably wont get him until then, but just curious on if that will work or not. I seem to think it will.

Thanks!

I have a Foxface Lo with 2 percula's and a flame, there in a 90 now will be in a 125 in the next few weeks.I've had no problems at all.

I have a fox with two perculas and a flame in a 75gallon and it has worked out pretty good. The fox has never shown any aggression.

Since you guys are talking about foxface, i've heard that their dorsal fine is venomous. I want to get one for my 75G but im afraid that its fin might injure its tankmates or even me if i put my hand in there to work on the tank. Should i be worried about that?

no, just watch out for it. you wouldnt go into seizures or anything. just put vinger on it if it happens. Just watch out for him. His tank mates will know better then to mess with him. They are a defensive mechanism, not offensive. you wont have any problems.

My foxface has been around about a year, with over 20 tankmates including maroon clowns, tangs, flame angel, 4 types of wrasses. It has neither harassed or been harassed by any.

flashlink - I've never had a problem with mine and any of it's tankmates. Including two false clowns and Swallowtail and Watanabei Angels and all were fine.

FishNutzBoi - I was worried about the venomous fins too, but I decided to get it. Mine darts for the rocks most of the time when my hands go in. They are skittish fish. He does come right up to me when I feed now, but keep his fins down. As the others have said, just be aware where he is and be careful around him and you'll be fine.

Yes, FishNutz, it's about like a fiddleback spider sting. You're not going to die of it, but know this: when terrified, they turn khaki camo and lean against a rock. If you're in there moving rock, wear the big gloves and wear leather gloves under them. That way you won't accidently grab a fistful of rabbit along with the rock, or if you do, you'll feel him wiggle and let go unharmed. That's how most people get stung. The fish doesn't rush over and stab people: it's a reflexive defense when grabbed.
