Any ideas as to why I can't keep either of these alive? Temp 77.5, pH 8.2, NO3 0, Ca 450, KH 8.6, PO .01, There is plenty of food, they just don't last more than a couple of weeks.

Yes it is a foxface rabbitfish. What other fish are in the tank? Is it the 210 gallon tank? Have all of them been from the same place?

These are pretty much bulletproof fish once acclimated but they do stress very easily when first introduced and maybe they are being stressed or bullied in your tank. Can you give us more deatils, tankmates? How long has the system been up and running? What species of rabbits are we talking about? How big were the fish you introduced?

Like Kahuna said they are very easily stressed but once you get over the initial hump they are very easy to care for...There has to be something going on that is stressing them out.

I lost one a couple of weeks ago. It lasted about three weeks and just never did acclimate properly and begin eating well. I could not see where it was being harassed. It would just raise it's spine if anything got too close and they would back away.

I think if you get past acclimation, they should be fine.

I've had mine for almost 8 years now. Bought him when he was about 2 inches big. Now he is pushing 11 inches.

The first one I bought didn't make it past 4 days, very stressed and never ate. The next one I got was eating at the lfs. Like everyone else said get it aclimated well and eating well and should be smooth sailing.

Its the 220, and there are several other fish in the tank...tangs, anthias, angels, and others. They all seem to eat at first, but then just stop and die. The tank is several years running. I've tried foxface, scribbled rabbitfish, orange spot rabbitfish, and starry rabbitfish...no luck on any.
