My way better half gave me some dates that I can host a meeting of the frag swappers in our area. The morning of June 26 (we have soccer in the later part of the afternoon) or July 24th (we could probably cook out). I'll be back in a few weeks so let me know....

Dave

Hmmm, both dates fall on my weekend off. But, June 26th is Cruisin Pallooza weekend. I would like to see what 1 of these things are though.

We'd love to come on June 26th (I think all the graduation parties are on the 25th) but we have a fairly new tank and no frags yet unless we break something off the blastomussa merletti.

I just found this group BTW. We live north of you guys in South Otselic (which none of you have heard of I am sure :-)).

You will be fine not bringing frags. I'm sure that you will leave with some.....Welcome to the forum

Thanks Dave. Let me know when you decide on a date for sure. As it happens the July date is now better for us. We can bring food?

Oh nice I hope you have a safe trip no worries I bet you cant wait to look at your tanks again. that must be very hard talk about patience in this hobby!

July 24th is going to work out better for me and the family so I will open up my home for the gang from 12-4PM. If anyone wants to get with me for some early trading I will be home for the majority of the summer.

By then my tank should have cycled! :-), I am excited to get started, not excited to pay $20 for corals the size of a button though at the pet store :-P ........ Should I dip all corals I get? and what are easy corals to keep? thanks

I am dipping mine now in Coral RX. Never hurts to be sure you have no hitchhikers. I am having no trouble with the few I have so far. Easy corals are mushrooms and star polyps of which I may actually have a frag of by the 24th. This star polyp of mine is growing like a weed and is pretty cool in a light current. Zoanthids and buttons are easy too.
