Frag Grow Out #1

I gave mine to Fliger when I took my tank down.

So goes reef keeping. In one years time, looks like we have two frags gone by the wayside because of people leaving the hobby. Two frags die from mini crashes/crashes. Hopefully Denny's frag is still alive.

Makes me feel better when I think of the frags that have not made it in my tank. Tis not so easy and this thread sorta shows that.

If you all every do this again, I'd be "interested" in attempting it.

I agree with Frank. I'd love to participate if we ever decide to experiment with more species of coral. I think the ideal situation would be to have the same group of people grow out one softy or mushroom, one LPS and one SPS at the same time. That way we could not only see the variety of growth rates and patterns among tanks, but also the way that different tanks produce preferential growth in various kinds of corals.
