ok i have a kenya tree thats getting pretty big and it recently lost 3 branches which are now doing pretty well in the sand. what can i do with the branches as far as attaching them to a rock?? I also have 2 blue mushrooms that i would like to have more of. will they multiply on their own, and or is their any way i can frag them and get more? I honestly dont know the first thing about fragging, i just need some basic info. thanks

there are many ways to attach a kenya tree to a rock. you can either glue it to a rock (use Krazy Glue GEL), put a toothpick though the bottom and glue the toothpick to the rock, Tie it to the rock with thread or just put it ontop of a bunch of rock rubble and it will attach itself.
mushrooms multiply pretty quickly but you can also cut them in half or depending on their size quarter them . then glue the pieces to a rock.
May I suggest getting Anthony Calfo's "book of coral propagation" it's about $20 dollars. has all this info. plus alot more about sumps tanks etc. well worth the money IMO.

Is there a place to get Calfo's book? Thx.

If you can wait for NERAC in March, I'm sure there will be plenty available. If not, Amazon.com should have it.
If you start a new thread, you may find someone that has read theirs, and wants to sell it "used"

yup, NERAC would probably be the cheapest place to get it . Like I said before I think I picked it up for around $20. at the LIRA Membership/raffle booth.
You can also get it at Marine Depot for $29 Plus all his other books.
try the other online stores I think they also carry it (ie. thatpetplace, drfoster&smith )

the book is very expensive on amazon, i just ordered it on thatpetplace.com i'll try out the other website, thanks for the help
