what is the cheapest for the quality frag plugs this will be for a bussiness so bulk is fine im looking for at least 20 for 100 or better

thanks

I don't know of any other besides BAF for non-plastic plugs. They make nice plugs but for some corals they're a little small. The disks are pretty thin and move around a little to much for me in some tanks with high currents.

I donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t like the BAF plugs either, they are way to small, brittle, and easliy blowen over by a PH.

Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ve made my own out of Tonga branch and has worked well for me. Its much denser so its heavy and canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t be knocked over as easy. I also get diff diameter disk so I can pick and choose for each diff frags.

no I borrowed a table saw from a friend that has a diamon blade. Its the type that is used to cut tiles. I belive the saw cost about $65 at HD.

Yeah I got the same stuff from ken awhile back. They are good but are very lighter and I have a problem with keeping them up unless I use larger pieces of it. I also have some crush version of that stuff that Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ve been tempted to us in my ca reactor.

yeah Raskal, its the same stuff from Ken.
I passed Steve Garrett a couple boxes of the scrap pieces for him to use in his CA reactor and I think he has had good results.

I have some larger blocks and chunks that I can cut thicker so they stay put in higher current.
I also experimented with glueing sprinkler screens to the bottom for placement into eggcrate.

Make your own.

The PVC slice is 1" for referrence.
The small white one is the BAF plug and the other white one is the GAF disk.

How do you like the saw?

the ones at reeftecdesigns are pretty cheap, $8 for 25 I think

I had problems with homemade branch plugs growing algae, the cement ones are nice because they are smooth and can be scrubbed or superglued over if algae takes hold.
