Frag Swap: August 27th at ABC Aquarium

I have been wondering the same myself!! It seems lots of us are getting the itch to frag and sell right now anyway so why not do it all in one place!! A while back I tried to get a frag swap rolling here in Rochester because I think it's a perfect middle ground for both the Buffalo and Syracuse people. I am willing to play a role in setting it all up if we could only find a place to do it. The only LFS I see having enough room to hold a decent sized swap would be ABC in Fairport or possibly the Reef Shop in the FW room or throughout the whole place.
Hopefully one of the LFS people will chime in here and give us their thoughts. A frag swap is always a good way to bring business in for any LFS as well as get plenty of new people checking out the store. FRAG SWAP FRAG SWAP!!!

I've talked to the people over at The Reef Shoppe to try and convince them to do a Frag swap and he is just not down for it. So I know they are out of the question. But there needs to be one here in Rochester, It's the perfect meeting spot for both Buffalo and Syracuse and all the reefers here in Rochester. Someone or one LFS step up!

Frag swaps aren't as common during the summer because most people would rather do outdoor related activities and the turnout is usually dismal for both buyer/sellers.
I've heard discussions of a swap here in Buffalo towards the end of summer but nothing is official yet- I'm sure it'll be posted when the time comes.

August seems to be the best month. Perhaps first or last weekend. I'm letting you folks decide. those of you who wish to bring things to sell give me heads up ahead of time.
