Folks,

this year, since we are forced to move, we are trying to get a much more central place. Thanks to everyone who has posted a suggestion to me and i this thread. we will call and look into them all.

Hopefully, we will have an answer on Monday with the location.

A centralized location makes more sense. We have had it in the boro the past two years. If I don't mind driving to the boro, you shouldn't mind driving to nashville. Most of us living in nashville have been making trips there. The thing is finding the right place for the right price.

So they would not even let the Club use the place for money? Or was that never mentioned. There seems to be some good leads coming out from people making suggestions of places they know. It will all work out in the end, Just may need to raise the Fee for outsiders a few bucks. Seems other Meets have charged more than a dollar without repercussions and sellers could pay a little more too, Which I hope to be again this year along with Mel we plan on splitting a table. Raffle tickets could also be hit by inflation on the bigger items to make this all work financially.

Bill, they dont let outside organizations use teh room any more regardless of the charge. some other groups didnt take as good of care of it as we did.

since we have to pay, we will charge a cover charge. it will all shake out here in the next few weeks and we will get all the details.

If we have a choice of location how about choosing a more central one this time around, As it has been in M'Boro several years. A Nashville location would maybe bring better attendance from the general public if Advertised that Folks know about it. People come from all area's and Nashville is central to them all JMO

I've called a lots of places last month high school and YMCA and all couldnt do it bc of basketball season. I'm going try the Nashville zoo and the science center Monday.

We are looking for what Lindsey post up top and under $2000. But if we charge for 1-$3 per person. Club members will be free.
