Thanks Dan and Jill for hosting this event. It was great to see a big turnout and a bunch of cheap frags go to new homes at a price everyone can afford.

I will be posting some photos on your build thread. Too bad the camera battery died. Guess, you will just have to invite us all back fo another shin-dig.

If anyone else wants live phyto or chaeto, you can PM me. I always have phyto and chaeto available. I will also have a good stock of live rotifers shortly (but they aren't ready yet). And hopefully some tank-bred tomato clowns in the next few months...

Thanks Mike, I injected the Aptasia with lemon juice (suggested by another RC member) and it seems to be working like a charm. The rock was COVERED with it so I am going to keep a close eye on things. So far I haven't seen it come back so maybe the lemon juice worked. Have you ever heard of doing that?

lemon juice is good but I just use white vinegar, it works like a charm but I try to just do two or three at a time to avoid messing with the Ph.

I woke up this morning and POOF!! No aptasia! I guess the lemon juice worked perfectly. I wanted to ask though, can the lemon juice harm the Ph?

I used about 7-10cc's over the last 12 hours but it was all done outside the tank. The majority ran out onto a paper plate so it was never introduced to the tank. Do you think that is considered safe?

You should be good, keep an eye on that rock because sometimes they come back.

I am so glad that it seems everyone had a great time. I like hosting them as well, so I will take the next one as well if no one else steps up. At least everyone knows how to get to my place now. Just cool to see everyone elses tanks... Here are some pictures of the frag swap

If that frag that had the aptaisia on it was my toadstool leather I must apologize, I had treated them with Aptaisia-X and thought I had killed them all.
