Frag swap this weekend?

Ditto! AK prices are a bit high. I get better prices at the Bird Road stores. I am going just to see what Reefchicks will bring, Aly is pretty fair with her frags, and she always has some nice Zoa's.
"¢ For the folks coming from the north; there are 2 stores nearby and one online vendor that you can visit:
"¢:fish1: ReefTop Pet Boutique 3 blocks north of the swap on 13250 SW 87th Ave, Miami, FL 33176. Good people and sometimes they have nice sales; they carry all type of corals and fish.
"¢:fish1: The other store is 4-5 miles west of the swap - Aquarium Concepts. This is their new location and they have their high end Corals in a back room at good prices (12011 SW 117 CT) Robert is a good dude as well.
"¢:fish1: And the last one is probably the best; which is Perfectcorals.com He is 5 blocks north of Aquarium concepts. Across the street from Miami Dade College Kendall Campus. He has some awesome Acros, Gold Torch, Yellow and Peach Hammers, big colonies and small frags at great prices. You will have to google "œPerfectcorals" to call Alex and schedule an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

Aquarium Kingdom sells to many of the stores on Bird Road at wholesale prices. Their prices are in line with most stores. Strictly Fish (Bird Road Store) and Ocean View Aquariums (Bird Road Store) have set up booths at both of the Aquarium Kingdom frag swaps"¦ so you would have seen about 10 frag vendors that day"¦ including Reef Chicks...

Aquarium Concepts used to get some of my business until they put 2 corals on auction on FB. They didn't honor the final sale price on both corals, (Pink Krakatoa Frag and Pink Hippos Frag), so I will never buy from them again. They just stopped communications with everyone.

Alex is a cool guy, but to say he is the best is a veeeeeeeeery long stretch"¦ he sells from his house (nothing wrong with that) but the vast majority of his corals are beginner corals. He advertised 'High End Corals' on Craigslist, i contacted him to see if he wanted to trade. I visited him with approximately 10 pieces, and I ended up trading only 1"¦ and I was on the losing end, because I felt bad"¦


Any of the Bird Road stores are the best to visit and I would put AK in that group also.
