Well we have nailed down the space for the Frag swap for Saturday September 19th at the Agricenter.

This is getting off to a slow start regretfully and we need some volunteers to help in several different directions to make this as successful as last year. Glitzyone and the other volunteers really did a great job last year so please lets put all those ideas everyone had last year to the test and jump in and help with this.

Anyone that has any available time or resources to contact sponsers please let us know and be sure and metion the upcoming swap to any vendors that you contact. This is only about 8 weeks out

We still need a venue for the Club meeting this month with the Frag swap and election of officers being major topics to be discussed.

Please PM Snakemanvet, Granny BJ, or myself if you can possibly helpout in any way..

We have been working on the website and Jay(OneReef ) is now helping out with it and we hope to have it back on line soon.

Bill, have we asked any of our sponsors if they would be willing to host the July meeting? If not, maybe we just need to meet somewhere for lunch/dinner as this meeting sounds like it will be mostly business. Just a thought.

It's gonna obviously depend upon my schedule in September and whether or not I'm even in the area (I may well be in Florida on business), but I do have some amazing SPS that I need to get rid of...

Most specifically; I have 2 awesome colonies of 'Tyree Flower Petal Cap' and a glowing 'Purple Rim Leng Sy Cap' that both desperately need fragged. These are extremely unusual Caps w/ ultra vivid blues and purples. I also have a ton of Red Cap, Grape Cap (unsure of official name), and bright Purple Digi. I have tons of other stuff as well, with lots of blues, greens and oranges.

I everything I have has been grown under 20k Metal Halides.

So what usually happens at these meetings? Are they just for pre-existing members?

Our usual meetings are always open to new non-members so you can see if the club is right for you. The meeting usually has a topic. A few of our last topics included reef photography, In-Wall reefs, and D.I.Y. two part solutions. There is generally food and drinks provided along with reef conversations which is where you will learn many facts from the veterans in the hobby. People generally have a good time without the cops getting called.

If something else doesn't come up, we can have the meeting at my house. I never know when I'm going to have a showing with the house on the market so it would need to be 6 p.m. or later.

It would be nice to see everybody since the plan right now is to head out to CA by mid August. I have the Frag Swap signs that need to be picked up, too.

My large tank is gone, so there's not much to see. But my24 gallon is still up that I'll be breaking down soon.

I'm in E Memphis near Memfish.

Cathy we will sure take you up on that, if you can work it out, we have much business to discuss and it will give you the opportunity to "hand off" all that you need to get rid of at the same time.

This club will surely miss you, we all hope that you stay somewhat active on our boards, and we expect you to find us all some good "corals to send us from out there".

I just found out that my AOW & NITROX classes are that weekend, so there is no way that I'll be able to make it... PLEASE keep me in mind for future swaps though!

Bill, I told you I'd help, even though I'll be going to Chicago during the FragSwap itself. Just let me know what you need help with, ahead of time.

Any help contacting vendors for raffle gifts is needed. I hoped to have a list put togather from the stuff from last year before now, but have not been where I could stay on computer for more than a few minutes.

I will try and get this finished tonight and will "spread the wealth"!!
