Frag swap was packed

I was only unhappy with one total frag and it was from syurkovi. Photo had to be edited. No way those are blue zoas like the pic. Even with the blue lighting they are no where near blue in any way. Anyone else unhappy with a frag from anyone? Thanks DonDon. The eagle eyes I got from you are way more than what was posted. Thanks so much.

This was my second swap and this time I came prepared, except that I had to run across the street to the Marathon station to use the atm twice. Thanks to everyone involved, alot of people got some good cool stuff at a fair price. I got some real good deals and some so so. Nothing to complain about by far. This should bring everyone back in sholes next year. If the fishtank is the "doghouse", get me my diving gear!! Thanks c-sea!!!!! See everyone at the next meeting.

Big thanks to C-SEA for another great swap. Whoever has been saying for the last couple years that 'the frag swaps are getting smaller every year anyway' must not go to the C-SEA swap because there just seems to be more and more people every year. Thanks to everyone I bought stuff from. Everything is doing great, and after pretty close inspection, I dont see any unwanted guests. ;)

swap was awesome it was overwhelming to decide what to buy. I loved the bar and the bartender was very nice. Wish i had more money to spend kinda broke right now i could have easily spent a $1000 there. Def need a bigger room though i was one of the first people in the door and didn't bother setting up the tank i had with me because i couldn't find power close enough, not a complaint just a recommendation for next year more room and more power. Some of the frag tank setups there were incredible, just when i thought i was done building fish stuff guess again gonna build a frag tank.
Thanks to c-sea for putting on the event and to everyone that helped kudos to you too.

Yeah I noticed that. Even though I was busy, I saw your red face there every time I looked back. She must have been really nice to milk you all of your money ;).

This was my first swap too! I agree there could' ve been more room. ( I would 've gladly taken the spot out on the deck! ) Another thing that could've been better- For those who where bringing in stuff to sell, it would have been nice to have pulled by the door to unload. Some had just left their vehicles there blocking the ramp. Like give them 15 min or so then go, let the next one in to unload/load depending on how much you have. Sure it would take a little policing but its just to be fair to others. I saw lots of folks trying to carry their tanks out and I'm certain that their backs are killing them this morning! But thats just my 2 cents on this. Otherwise it was swell! It was very generous of those that had frags pre-arranged to sell even delivered ! Heck- it saved the shipping !
Perhaps next yr we can get lucky and rent out some building that was a former store which can give everybody more room, let those that have nice displays to stand out (As they envisioned) and have lots of parking. I'm sure there are alot of buildings that may lease for the day as it will give them some $$ at least.

BIG THANKS to everyone who put forth the effort to make the swap a great event. I picked up a couple nice corals. I enjoyed talking to everyone and putting some more faces to names.

This was my second swap and wow was it amazing. The venue was much better than last year.....it was still uncomfortably packed but thats to be expected and everyone was courtious and understanding about all the bumping going on. I spend around $250 on corals, fish food, and equipment but surely saved several hundred dollars. I won something from the raffle (carbon) and had a blast meeting people and talking to others who share the same passion as I. Great job C-Sea!

I want to thank all of those that volunteered to help out. This event could not have been done without the support of all involved. I especially think that Jen (Reefwidowed) deserves a special thanks as she did a lot of the heavy lifting behind the scenes.

Also want to thank all of our sponsors for donating to the raffle and making it an equal success.

And finally, JoeNano, thanks again for donating the delicious pizza!!!!

Personally, I really liked the Skyview Lodge, the view, the setup and THE BAR was really cool, lol. However, after reading all the comments, I think its rather unanimous that we will need to find a larger venue in the future as it was cramped. I guess that's a good sign that the event continues to grow in popularity.

This was my first Frag Swap and I want to say that I felt really welcomed. I learned a lot from this swap i.e. bring something to carry the frags home in, have an idea of what I want prior to arriving oh and leave ATM card at home (to prevent multiple trips to cash machine lol..)

Being in the military I realized that people are not going to like somethings no matter what. I think it's easy to point out the downfalls and sometimes we forget to make a suggestion to correct them. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand. I work at an Army Armory which has a hall sized room could be handy for for the next swap.

Drop me a line if interested.

Once again thanks to all who made the Army guy walking around aimlessly feel welcomed!

Well stated Serpentman.

Kudos on another well organized event. The follow-up survey is a prime example of how hard you all work to make the swap the best it can be for all. :)

There is a church right up the street a bit that we used to rent out for the track team fundraiser....It woud be the perfect place for the swap...reasonably priced and big enough....

With beer? I mean frags are cool and all, but beer makes it an event. If nothing else will they let us drink some wine?

thanks everyone who helped put on the swap, i will definitely be back next year and with more money. Couldn't spend to much this year with an expecting child by the end of the month.
