Frag Swap

Is there any interest in a Pittsburgh-area frag swap? I tried to organize one last year, and it didn't work out.

I will volunteer myself again as the host. WE can do burgers, dogs, and beers again, assuming we can schedule it before it gets too cold. I could probably arrange fora couple of tanks to be set up outside to hold peoples frags, or we could do it from coolers and bags.

Let me know if you guys would be interested in doing something like this.

I have two long white tables that fold up I can bring as well as some extra power strips.

Maybe if club sponsors we could do it at a location off turnpike maybe rte 8 ish and contact Ohio and central pa clubs to get in on it too. Just a thought since majority of club members already trade or buy frags from each other. Would be nice to get some non local traders in the action...

I was thinking about a small gathering since we are running out of warm days to have something outside. If you guys want to go bigger, it would require more planning and would definitely have to be at an inside location. I am in either way.

If you guys want to do something small, I remembered there is a great pavilion at the park near my place. They have several picnic tables, power, and restrooms. There is also a playground and baseball field for the youngins. I think it would be a great place to have a gathering.

Do we want to maybe see about getting a section on the PMASI website forum thru our awesome webmaster so we can post some stuff we might have and be able to see whats available? No trades or discussion just Club Registered username and what corals you can bring.

This way we don't all make a big plan to trade orange cap and frogspawn....

I think that's a great idea. Everyone start thinking now about what you can frag, and make a list. If we cant post it on the PMASI forum ( Im not a member ), we can list them here.

Yeah and even here is too public since we will end up with 40 people saying "wish I lived close by" or "how much to ship to 12345" or "can you meet near dayton ohio".....
