This is still an auction right?

Last I heard we were going to set it up so that your purchase a table and then sell your frags for what price you want. I've kinda been out of the loop the last couple months though so I may be wrong.

I guess we should decide on how we are going to have it. Maybe The El Presidente' could fill us on how this is going to work. I thought it was going to be an auction.

I like the auction so the good stuff (read cheap and sweet) is not cherry picked. In the first 10 minutes.

I like the auction format too, I just hope that supply is in check with demand this go around. It seems like last time there were very few sellers and a lot of buyers so things got a bit pricey.

I'm gonna try and bring a few things this time, but it won't be anything super rare as I just don't have anything rare (at least not that I can frag yet).

Hopefully we can get some people to start fragging now. It doesnt matter what it is, not everyone likes the same

I will start fragging now, but due to that tank melt down it will all be the same single sps I have left.... :(

It doesn't matter to me how we do it, I'm game for anything.

A thought on 11-4: That makes an awful early morning for those of us that want to commute in from Des Moines/Ames/Boone or further. I guess I could come the night before and have dinner at Thunder Bay. :0)

This will have the standard auction format, rules are as follows....

members will have the option to sell as many items as they would like if your a non-member you will only be allowed to buy not sell. If any non-member would like to sell there items they would be allowed to join the club for the regular amount of $20 dollars or pay a $10 dollar sellers fee. Non-members are allowed to purchase any and all corals they would like without purchasing a membership. In the case the club has visiters from out of state they will be allowed to sell there items after paying a $10 dollar sellers fee.

When arriving at the auction please have your items tagged or identified, pictures can be a great assest. Seller will be given sheets to number and label for the appropriate corals or dry goods. Sellers are recommended to keep an eye on the items there selling, this has never been a problem in the past but is always a good idea as the club can not be responsible for missing corals.

The items will be allowed a set amount of time where bidders will write there bids. After this time is over the bidding will be closed, please respect this, if your caught bidding after the time is up your bid will be removed and the item will go to the next highest bidder.

Please bring cash, it's hard to know how much your going to spend but this will make it much easier on all parties involved.

Most of all have FUN, these events usually have the highest turn outs, come hang out with old friends, make some cash, and possibly find that jem of a coral you've been looking for all year.

What percentage of the earnings will the club get this time. I can't even remember what it was last time.
