Frag Swap

Good turn out for our first swap. A lot more than I actually expected. Next year will be even bigger and better. I am glad we went ahead and did it. I heard we even picked up a few new members!

Wow!!! I got some great stuff. This 75 gal is not going to be big enough for long. Maybe I should turn my dinning room into a tank. LOL - Had great fun. lots of nice people. Thanks Reef chicks for the trades.

Had a great time. For some reason I dont have much room in my tank even after selling all those frags??? I think the coolest part is getting home with closed up corals and trying to figure out what is what before it opens.
Thanks to everyone for making it happen.

I think it went rather well. I think some of the people that walked in an won some to the prizes just might remember that for next year.

Thnaks to everyone that helped put this on.

And a great big THANK YOU to the sponsers who donated prizes.

I had a great time at the swap. I sold all of my corals and came home with 3 new ones. The turnout was more than I expected and I am sure everyone had a good time. Thanks to all that helped and the sponsors for the prizes.

Great swap, I sure was tired by the time I got home, fell to sleep at 8pm and didn't get up till 4AM. Thats about 4 hrs more then I get on a normal night. But it was still lots of fun, now where am I going to put all these new pets!!

It was a great swap and something our club members can be proud of!! Thanks to all who organized and helped set up and tear down. I sold most of my frags and what I did not sell my son "stole" from me to put in his new pico. Thanks to all who purchased my frags and even looked them. I did some "last minute" shopping myself and brought home a few goodies. Lots of work when I got back home unloading everything and putting my MH back over my frag tank. Had to make up some topoff ro/di overnight. I, too, was exhausted and went to bed at 10:30 and up at 9:45. I have decided that reefers are a great group of folks and am so glad to see so many females involved in the hobby!!

Thanks to those of you who put all that time and effort into making it happen. It's so easy to give up on something because it's hard to do but you all pushed through and made it happen.

Good to see all the new energy in the club this year and Vicki's right ..... great to see more ladies. I remember the first meeting I went to at Kermits there were only a few women and I think only one or two others besides me that weren't there as spouses.

This is a great start we can build on next year!

I remrmber the first one I atteded was at BSL in Humboldt and I think the next at Kermits. I remembered you as the "Clown lady" who had so much success raising clown fry!!
