Frag Tank for SALE

I just bought this from another member, and only to find out that the stand I have made already is 1/2" too narrow... or better yet , the tank is 24.5"x 24.5"x 10" and that 1/2" prevents me from placing it correctly, since the stand was made to accept a 24" wide tank.... so I will pass the same deal I got to some one else.

the tank is glass, it has an overflow.
$50 cash

Too bad you can't just use a slightly larger ply on top of it

Replace with a slightly wider plywood at 24.5

You have the 2x4 depth to let the plywood stick out a bit

I meant why can't you use a slightly larger ply its not going to cause much issue.

I think he wants it to fit between the uprights.

Maybe pull one of the uprights, put in a 1/2" ply face to the shelf flush with the top and put bk the upright

Or take out 1/4 inch on each side of the 2x4

Well, used a chisel and carved the 2x4s where the tank needed more room, now it fits. .. so unless I find a better frag tank I will keep it.
