Fragging Duncan?

My duncan has about 40 heads and it's very compact. I have a dremmel but I dont think I can squeeze in the blade without damaging it. Will I do better with a bone cutter to frag it? thanks

In the past I have used bone cutters only to free up a space to get into with the dremmel. The downside to the bonecutters is that they sometimes cause "splintering" of the coral and then I end up using the dremmel cutting for a more uniform base.

Also, if you do a search on fragging duncans you should find quite a few other threads that address the concern.

I definitely wouldn't recommend a bone cutter; just my opinion. I've had quite a fee mishaps using one. I miss my pointer finger. :( jk

do not use bone cutters, you will damage it.

Dremmel will work just fine. I understand about heads being close, I've even cut them in half by accident and they survived. With bone cutters you might shatter entire head.

thanks guys..patience is not one of my virtues but I'm getting there. Anyway, I'll give it a go with dremmel and bone cutter just in case I need it. I hope I won't dremmel my fingers.

Agree with previous statements. Don't be too worried to accidentally slice through a head, it will grow back fine. I've also sliced heads too thin/shallow and had no problems.
