Use the little postcard icon that says "insert image" when you hover over it. Paste the URL to your image in that dialogue. Picture will then appear in your post.
Keep in mind the image will need to be hosted somewhere. Look in to Photobucket and Flickr. Photobucket is free but horribly slow.
One can also attach images to a post from your computer, but they appear as attachments and have to be clicked on, versus appearing full size in the post itself.
