I've never seen a bumble bee shrimp in the keys, are you sure its not an anenome shrimp? They're kind of similar.

I`m 100% sure that was a bumble bee shrimp I never seen them before but I was looking under the rocks wen I sow one then I start moving all the rocks around and I sow lots off them next time I will get u a pic trust me was a bumble bee shrimp I know how a anemone shrimp looks like ...............

Mile marker #73 does sound about right though. All of the little bridge areas from Islamorada to about 10 miles South are real good. The best place was a stretch on the ocean side that has railroad ties as a wall, directly across from an unfinished house on the Gulf side.

Bumble bee shrimp that Liveaquaria have are REALLY TINY! Ive recieved them for the wholesalers before. The 2 I got were about 1/2" long....almost clear...it looked like there was nothing in the bags at first! I tried them in my tank with 3 sea starts and I have never seen them again. Not sure if they are alive or not....but I will say they were TINY!! You'd have to have a pretty damn good eye to see them in the Ocean!!!
