free coral

the wattage is 130, but im not sure now if i am going to get rid of them yet. im doing a little test to see if i get better color and growth from the pc or a 70w mh.

Xenia is the perfect starter coral for any kind of lighting.

Scott, That pic doesn't do those colors justice! Out of close to 100 species of zoas/palys I have, they are in my top 10. The face on those are more of a deep teal color, not brown like in that pic. The red ones are red Eagle Eyes.

thanks puffer!
i like you have stated in the past don't have the ability to take decent pictures of my tank. i would love to get a slr but i don't realy have a need for one.
i am glad to hear that you are enjoying them.
by the way i have a question for you.
You said that you hand feed your open brain coral. what and how???
scott

jski711sorey for hijacking your thread lets remind everyone that this thread was set up to unload some xenia stalks

steri xenia is a very cool coral because it adds alot of life to your tank with its constant motion.
the polyps open and close all day.
if your tank has been set up long enough and has a decen bio load it should do ok.
just a word of advice xenia is tough but a bit weak when transplanting i've seen it take over a month to recover in a new enviroment so don't get discoraged if it looks dead in your tank

jski711 i'm not sure what he would want in trade for them but he's on hear like 3+ X's a week so just shoot him a pm and i'm sure he'll respond.

Scott, To continue the hijack, I feed Rod's food to my meat-eating corals. I defrost in a cup of tank water & dispurse with a turkey baster.

Hey jski711

The Xenia is looking great and the shroom is starting to grow!
Thanks again and I'll be hooking you up in the near future!

not a problem im just happy to be able to help somebody out, glad to hear everything is going good. you need to take some pics of the tank so i can see your setup!!
