Free home water test.

Would the OMAS group like free home water test kits? 3m sent me 2 cases of sample kits you fill the bottle and send it to them. They will tell you your tds and many things about your water. I would be happy to have 3m send me enough kits for you group as well. LMK if you are interested and how many we need.

yeah no problem, It will be a few weeks as shannon had the baby on weds and wont be going very far from home. Maybe Ill bring a case to your shop Scott and you can let people take them as they wish? Either way Ill get you 2 guys one on my next trip up to t-town.

Congrats on your new COMAS member! Ill take a couple as long as they dont use your info to send out one of those high pressure water softner salesperson lol. It would be interesting to see the diffrence between Tulsa water and Sand Springs water.

That would be much appreciated for sure. It will also be cool to send them home with our customers from all the surrounding towns like Claremore, Collinsville,Coweta,wagoner and so on to see the difference in the quality of our states water.

Thats a good idea Scott. Maybe after we get them out we can start a thread for people to post their results. Ill make sure you and Jarod both have them in your stores. And I would be the water Softener sales guy and Ill already pester boith of you guys! lol And yes I can get a great deal on their stuff and use it on my own home. lol Ill order some more and get them to you asap. Thanks Guys! I'm sure it will be interesting to see the results.

No prob, I will be out for a minor surgery tomorrow, but hopefully will be up in t-town in a week.

yeah bonedog, follow the instructions on how and where to take the sample from and then drop it in the mail. A couplke weeks later you will get the results back. if you have a water softener you will need 2 kits one before and one after the softener. They dont test for pathogens but do test for mineral content or TDS. I use these to set my water softener up and check it once to twice per year to make sure there are no changes. It will help you figure out if you are maximizing your di resin or wasting your time. I will be in Tulsa tomorrow and will drop some off, I'm waiting a bigger shipment of test kits but should have enough to get you guys started,
