I've had a mandarin in my 40 gallon reef assisting in the elimination of zoa eating amphipods. Unfortunately I noticed on my little radiata lionfish a speck of ich. As a result I'm taking the fish out of my display tank and into a quarantine tank for hyposalinity.
Seeing as the mandarin will not have any amphipods to eat in there I'm offering it for free to any one who would put it in an aquarium where it can thrive. The obvious catch is that you would have to quarantine it as it probably would be carrying a little bit of ich. Otherwise it is healthy, I don't see any signs of it being bothered by the ich.
I'm located in Palos Heights, if you have a frag of something I'd be glad to take it. Otherwise you can take the fish off my hands.
