Free to anyone who wants it....about 30-40lbs of "miracle mud" mud and live sand. I have had it in my fuge for about a year, I'm switching everything over to my new tank and don't need this anymore. First come you can have with some rock rubble. Probably tons of pods. I'm in Petaluma:D

I'll have some more free stuff int he next few days....about 60-70 lbs of live sand...

Shane, I don't know what your whole setup looks like but before taking out the mud and the old sand, you might want to run it inline with your new tank for several weeks with the new rock structures and new sand before taking it off line. This will help keep your tank from having to recycled.

ummm good suggestion...didn't think of that. My system now has a separate fuge of about 30-40 gallons out of a storage container. I took all the rock out of that that we used yesterday. So i had to turn the flow off to that due to the space the rock took up or I could have added more water. So I have the mud and the checto sitting in a storage container. I was thinking of taking the water out of it and putting it in the new tank, the dust has settled by now. I started to fill the tank last night! =))) All but one rock made it home in one piece. The one with the eagle head had the back break off. So I aquamended it last night and it is good I think in about the same position we had it in. Tonight I will put the rock in the tank. It has only been out of water for 24 hr so it will still have some life. Do you think I will be fine with taking the water out of the fuge and adding it to the tank?
That will transfer some of the pods and such. Do pods need heated water?

PS: last night i started to have a heart attack when I was filling the tank with water. It was leaning to the right by 1/4 inch. As I added more the foam I put under it compressed and balanced out =). I know I still owe pics....this week. haha I think.

let me postpone the free mud for 2 weeks.

Yeah you need to post those pictures right away to get more people excited ...LOL I really like the way the rocks turned out, we did them on a raining stormy freaking cold day :D.

Yeah you want to use as much of the old water as possible. When you pump it into the tank you can use a filter sock to clean it even more.

When you place the rocks into the tank you want to start with the rocks, and then wet cleaned sand, and then water (use a plate or something to defuse the flow so it doesn't turn the water too murky

Yeah the rock came out great, you were the artist on the rock. You will have a line at your door to get more of your work when I post the pics. I have the hard part left of getting the rock in the tank without breaking it. Not an easy task... I'll take the pics tonight of the rock in the tank, load it to photo bucket and send it to RC. I know it's simple but I don't have much time when I get home from work so I try to spend as much time as I can on the tank. Check about 8:30pm tonight

Once you get your new tank going I wouldn't mind a little of your mud, maybe like a gallon jugs worth?

You can have it all Dan or as much as you want. I used 2 pieces thanks a bunch. I think you can tell which once came from you. They are the branch rock. I got some to give back to ya if you would like. Also have some san in future if you need any.

I just need enough to add about an inch or 2 under my sand bed to promote growth ofmy seagrass I plann to add. Now I need to take out the front half of my sand to layer the mud under :). That is going to be fun!

If there is any left after Tiki has done his deal I'd love some for my Mangrove tank. Iw as just about to call Leng and get some in fact
