Bought some gold sailfin mollies to help with the algae grazing in my reef tank. Transitioned them with no issues to a saltwater hospital tank. Moved the couple to the display to get to work not before the female gives birth to about 40 or so babies. Seems most all survived. That was about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
Now I have a hospital tank full of healthy (saltwater) molly babies that I would feel bad just disposing of. I can "donate" them back to the lfs but they don't offer any sort of credit so I'd rather offer them to some fellow reefers first.
They're still a bit on the "snack-size" side so may need a couple more weeks to grow, but if that's what you need them for take 'em.
I know most don't really care for them in a reef tank, but they actually don't look too bad since they add a splash of color and are pretty active.
If interested, let me know. I'd like to move them within the next couple weeks so I can shut down the hospital. Plus it's in the garage which can get to 100+ degrees when it's hot enough outside.
Always open to any donation frags if you got 'em, but otherwise not necessary.
Thanks!
