Freezer Burned Food

Will freezer burned food such as mysid,Brine,clam,etc. Effect a fish. Or will they eat it and not effect them but they prfer fresh food. I soaked some Brine in garlic for a couple hours and none of my fish will eat it. My fish are yellowwatchmen,Mandrin,and Coral Beauty. I know the YW and Mandrin are shy but the CB will just put it in his mouth then spit it. I have seen alot of fish do this but she keeps on doing it and wont actually eat it.

i dont think it will hurt them, other then it won't be as nutritious.

it just will taste terrible and they won't eat it.

I'd toss it, otherwise it will wind up being an unconsumed excess nutrient source with potential nitrate/phosphate issues. TinMan

toss it. decreased nutritional value. they won't eat it. it stinks. contribte to poor water quality. might contain bad bacteria. need more?

And for the 4th and final. Food is cheap, get new food.
