I would think that a 6 gallon would be far too small for a figure 8 puffer. I've seen smaller puffers before, but don't know much about them. I believe they're called "dwarf puffers" and they stay under an inch.

Waterfall best place to get them is from the mailer that American killi Assocation does. You can buy them from diffrent breeders that advertise in it. it is called fish and EGG listing. I can only seem to find May listing but I will put one sellers info here form that.
