Freshwater for once

My brother's discus... too bad his tank glass was so dirty, some of the streaks and lines in the pictures are from that and I just didnt want to take the time to try to edit them out

nice shots...beautiful fish. How big is the tank?

It's a 75g tank, definitely the fish have outgrown it but he has tons of plant life in there so they get along pretty well due to it being all overgrown and cutting up the visible spots.

He has in the planning two 150 gallon or bigger tanks, stacked on top of each other and going to a 125 gallon sump, he just has to find the two big tanks first.

The vegetation sure makes for an interesting background. Great photographs all around both technically and aesthetically.

Yep, the green background that is pretty random does make for a nice setting. It's very easy to shoot against too, the fish really stand out.

I did all of these from about 15 feet away with my 100-400mm, it was my first test with that lens, I'm pretty pleased with the way the pictures turned out.

Nice pics, i have a fresh water 35g with some gourimas and more fish, i wanted to get disus fish but i got a salt water tank
