Is it safe to add a fridmani pseudochromis to my tank? Here is my fish list
Powder Blue Tang
Purple Tang
Yellow Tang
Female Bellus Angelfish
3 Lyretail Anthias (1 male 2 females)
2 Green Chromis
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
Firefish Goby
Purple Firefish Goby
4 Line Wrasse
Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse
Yellow Fin Fairy Wrasse
Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse
Black Fin Fairy Wrasse
Coral Beauty
yellow tail damsel

There may be possible problems with some of the wrasses on introduction but should pass quickly if it even occurs. I have added Azure damsels, Chaulk bass, and Lubbock's wrasses to my system with an already established Fridmani. Experianced only minor issues that passed quickly. My biggest concern would be the firefish. Its a big tank but I see a fair amount risk.

Not sure about the temperment of the 4-line wrasse but my 6-line killed my breeding pair of fridmani.

It depends on the nature of the dottyback. I had a fridmani that was scared of it's shadow and another that killed a pair of flasher wrasses...

You got a big tank there. With careful introduction, it should be a nice addition. I have a pair of orchids in my 120, no wrasses in my tank though.

Seems like fridmanis really vary in terms of temperament. Mine happens to be on the scared-of-its-shadow end of the spectrum. It was the first fish in my tank so it's worked out ok, but I'd hate to have tried to add it last; even my very mild-mannered Potter's angel would have probably stressed it to death.

If you do add an OD, or any smaller fish for that matter, to an established system, try using an isolation container.

Any, clean one gallon screw top container will do, like calcium reactor containers are perfect. Lash it with fishing line and drill
some holes all around. and secure it where it can hang in the corner of the display.

I have added two ODs to established systems with existing established ODs already in the system this way. The clear jug allows to new fish to acclimate, the existing fish to get used to its presence and, lifting it half way out of the tank gives the container a quick water change once a day.

Again, I have zero experience with wrasses so compatibility with them may be an issue. I would think in a system of 240 g the OD will take to the rockwork and be a magenta ghost that you catch fleeting but beautiful glimpses of .

Good luck either way!
