Any feedback on temperace of fish. The psuedo I have had were mean, but not sure on this variety.

I have one. It's extremely shy and spends 90% of it's time hiding in the rockwork. It did have a tendancy to harrass my yasha haze goby though. It would nip off it's high fin. Overall it's one of the more docile pseudochromis.

Nice pseudo to keep, even in small groups ... will not harm any besides smaller gobies like antenna and yasha likes... if yours are mean ...maybe they are the bolder purple porphyrensis pseudo... Frid do have a small dark purple stripe bellow the eyes and are much more slimmer than cheap and mean purple pseudo...

Make sure you obtain a captive bred specimen if possible. ORA breeds them. This is probably the most docile species of Pseudochromis. I've kept several over the years and they never bothered any of my fish even when they got larger. It's my favorite Pseudo!!

My Cherub killed mine. 1st day. However, I kept the sister species, Sankey's dottyback. Great fish & fridmani are less aggressive than these..

Seems as though this is the least aggressive Pseudo out there. Every fish is different and every tank and all the variables are different but the orchid dottyback seems to be the consensus.

If you don't mind the color on the Red Head Elegant Pseudochromis, they are also one of the least aggressive pseudos. I currently have one with a yasha goby and the red head just passes by the goby w/o any incident. good luck on whatever you choose!

I have a mated pair of orchids they are great fish. Once established do not add similar shaped/sized fishes in a confined tank as they will defend their turf. In an ample sized tank, they will not bother anyone.

true, I should add that my "model citizen" pair are in a 625g.
