fritz rpm

I think brs had a video on salt mixing and said heating will cause more precipitation. I was referring to the fritz having that white film. The rc and io leaves that brown crap no matter what. I just switch to fritz and loving it. But then again I've only mixed 40 gallons so far

My third bucket and I'm loving it. Took me hours to scrub that brown stuff off my bucket from RC. I'm sticking to fritz from now on.

I am on my 2nd box of Fritz. I use a 40 breeder for my mixing. I don't get any residue on the walls, I also heat the water. I switched to the 40b hoping it would mix cleaner due to the surface, I was using a large plastic barrel, which I had to clean after every water change. I will never go back to RC.

I'm on my 3rd box of Fritz and I love it. No more of that sludge crap that you get with RC. No harmful effects either. Had to refigure how much to use bc of the one large bag. But that was no big deal and I'm told they will packing in smaller bags soon

fritz rpm

I'm on my 3rd brute 32 gallon mic with this stuff. I haven't seen it this clean in a long time. I just dump the box's into my aquavitro bucket since it's a realty nice air tight season and just scoop 1/2cup per gallon of water.

Someone told me last week that they threw out some Reef Crystals. If anyone else is doing that, I'll take it off your hands. I am sticking with what works for me.

Has anyone else tested actual salt mix parameters.

My Mag is significantly low. Could be me though.

Tried twice getting 1100-1150???

Cully, my batch today was 40 gallons. 35ppt, temp at 78 and mixing for a little over 4 hours.
Test results using Red Sea Pro test kits that are about 6 months old.

MG - 1560 ppm tested twice for you.
ALK - 7.4dKH
CA - 430 ppm

For whats it worth I can say Fritz is working better for me than Red Sea Pro as far as growth, colors etc, but I do have to dose much more then I did with the Red Sea Pro.

Prob having Alk drop issue too. If you test about 15-30 min after mixing or when clear, should be closer or higher than 8 dkh

yellojello that might be true. I'll have to test sooner next time to see. But I run my tank at 8.1-8.4 dKH. So i dose the Alk before adding to my tank. Seems to give me the best growth for whatever reason.
