Frog Spaw - Weird Bubble

All, I have a frogspawn that has a very weird bubble popping out from its side. I have never seen this before last night. Any ideas on what this is and what I need to do about it?

mine have done this in the past and after a while (weeks) I have a new head coming off of where the bubble is.

AHH. It's splitting. One head becoming two.

Really, that's cool. I have had this thing for a year and it has doubled in size but this is the first time I have seen it do this.

mine have these pop up every now & then. dosen`t seem to affect coral & goes away in a week or two. mine are still growing good, i just figured it was natural for frogspawn

I personally don't think its splitting. I have seen this on my FS when it is either reaching more towards the light or is being more heavily effected by flow.

I think it is splitting, my frog does that all the time, pretty soon you should have another head.

I agree with lordofthereef. I have one doing that right and was getting hit with high flow as soon as I moved it the bubble started getting smaller.

There is not that much flow there in that area. As you can tell from teh pix, I have some rock placed around it to deflect and move water around it. I thought about getting a 3 litter bottle and placing it over it for a day or two and see what happens. that would remove flow from the picture.
