FrogSpawn Budding

So I have a 3 headed branching Frogspawn frag (about 1 month) that is quite happy where it is. I don't feed it more then what it catches out of the water column (I think it has taken a liking to Mysis). When I first got it I noticed a couple of nubs on the stony portion and thought nothing of it (after I was sure they weren't hitchhikers).

Recently I noticed that one seems to have gotten bigger. It also has 4-5 green dots that seem to be able to retract slightly. They certainly aren't fully formed arms, but they seem to be the same color as my green tips. Is this common for branching Frogspawns? Pictures can be supplied, albeit of crappy quality, if requested.

That is a great read! Thank you!

So having gone through most of it I would assume I am seeing budding. The only strange thing is this 'bud' retracts at night (when the rest deflates by about 50%). I would think a 'bud' wouldn't exhibit this behavior.

Here is a picture. Terrible quality ... but it is a phone. One the middle left of the skeleton you will see what I am talking about. It can grow and retract it seems. I have noticed another near the base but it is harder to see. The off-colored spots in the picture are green like the tips on the rest of the coral.
