frogspawn growth

Hello all,
I have a easy question, I have a 1 headed frogspawn i have had him for over 8 months, when i got him he had 2 heads, one got over taken 3 days after i got him by Brown Jelly. I was able to save the other thanks to Kents Lougl Solution.
1st is that normal, he is still relativly the same size as well. I was expecting to see more heads by now and the one he has to be bigger.
2nd he has never accepted any kind of food what so ever, I do dose DT's 1 tsp every other day "is he eating that?"

Corals include:
1 Open brain "eats like a pig"
1 Devil's hand
Xenias
2 colt corals "currently in some kind of resession Power Head fell on them wile i was at work about 3 weeks ago"

Fish:
one six line wrasse
one Dwarf Pygmy angle
I feed the fish formula one and formula 2 and a mixture of frozen shrimp everynight this has mysis and some other shrimp in it can't think of it right now.

Now about my tank I have a 25 gal tank, 30 lbs live rock, 2-3 in sand bedwith about 295/gph circulation. A coralife 125 protine skimmer runs only on when lights are on. Water test at pet store say my water is perfact they tested calcium aswell they said it was good they used an API liquid calcium test kit the vile turned dark purple I have no idea what that equates to in number I would suspect in the 300 to 350 range.

I dose 1 gal of kalkwasser makeup water every week.
I add 10 drops of Kents calcium "Yellow bottle" every day.
Everyday I add 10 drops of CoraVite
Once a week i place 1 drop of Kent's logul solution

I do not have a sump refigrum or mech filter of anykind

well, i can't imagine what would be inhibiting the growth of ur Frogspawn

The best i can say is GOOD LIGHTING, I have never seen my frogspawn eat, and there is alot of debate on this site of them being photosynthetic.

I have never fed my Frogspawn, and It has grown like crazy, just being near intense light

Ur setup and Matinence sounds really good

U only have the Skimmer on While the Lights are on?
Keep the skimmer on 24/7

What are your Lights, watt, etc
Hows ur Phosphate?
Using Tap or RO/DI*

Just some comments on your tank. I think you have borderline flow. I'd suggest putting in another powerhead and bumping it up to at least 20x turnover. The skimmer should be running 24/7. No need to turn it off. You need to get some quality testkits for alkalinity and calcium. Salifert would be my first choice. You should be targeting 7-11dkh for alk and 380-450 for calcium. Look into a 2-part suppliment for keeping your alk/calcium levels up and in balance. Please read the following articles. ;)

I have 150 14k phonix MH I have also ordered a tunze 6025 "waiting to get it my alk is at 10 dkh PH is 8.5 range I have never tested for phosphates I used to have 2x65w PC's and i accured an alge problem with those but it is dying off sence the introduction of the MH. I use RO/DI water. and SW prepared form the pet store

In the 6+ years I've had my frogspawn, I have never fed it directly. IT has grown just fine like it is. It has grown both by head splitting and by new head growth from the existing skeleton.

Keep your paramiters where they should be and just wait it out. Good luck.
