Frogspawn? Hammer?

I have had this for over a year now i have always believed it to be a frogspawn but in ways some of the tips almost look like a hammer coral. What do you think it is? Also im selling part of it because it is getting HUGE PM me if interested.

I'd say its a Frog but I see why you are questioning it. Unique tips.

I call mine frogspawn. Growing like crazy also. Traded a piece of it to LFS recently. Does your get transparent bubble on it?

Might be a hybrid. I know there are some hybrids but I don't know to what extent. My local club here has a hybrid passed around .. it seems to be a hybrid of frogspawn and torch. It's a pretty cool looking coral I picked up a head frag of it about a week ago.

Euphyllia covers every type.

It's hard to say whether or not Euphyllias are independent species or simply different morphs of the same animal. They've begun genotyping many of the corals of the South Pacific basin in recent years, so I'm certain it's just a matter of time before we get definitive answers to many of these questions. I'll ask Eric the next time I see him if he's received word as to their progress on this front specific to Euphyllias.
