Frogspawn Lighting Requirements

I have been looking at some Frogspawn corals lately but cannot find out if I have enough light to keep it alive. I have 192 Watts of PC lighting on a tank that is 18 inches deep.

I have looked on the net and asked the local LFSs but I am not getting a consistant answer. Most are saying that they require medium lighting. What is medium lighting.

Thanks for all the help.

Personally, I don't think your have a problem. Keep the coral mid-level (or above) and keep in mind, they will take small pieces of food. Most corals that eat, will tolerate (and, in some cases, may prefer) less intense/direct light.

I'm sure other will comment.

I'd think that should suffice, esp given good water quality/clarity.

They can adapt to higher lights [have some under 250w MH] ... but that sort of high light needs patient acclimitization.
