Frogspawn: New Head or Cause for Concern?

Hello all,

I have noticed over the last couple of nights that my frogspawn is starting to show something out of one of it's heads. It was barely noticeable at first but is starting to stick out a bit more.

Is this normal or should I start taking action on it?
(sorry for the poor image quality)

I can't make out anything from the image, sorry. I would say to look up brown jelly disease and make sure it doesn't look like that. If there is a chance it might be a tube worm or sponge try looking up chucks addiction, its a good resource for hitchhikers. Hope this helps.

I caught this little guy this evening with feather duster type sweepers coming out and retracting every couple of seconds. After research I found out it was a barnacle!

I did seed pods about a month ago to reproduce quickly before I introduce a mandarin. Without anything to eat them they have all but taken over my tank. The water clarity during the day is almost hazy because of all of the copepods floating around the column and on the glass. I can only imagine the barnacle is feeding on them.

whatever it is, ur coral doesnt look happy, have u dipped?

That was actually taken at night after the lights had been off for an hour or so.

It's actually doing very well - I just snapped this picture as it's starting to contract again for the evening under the "dusk" setting of the kessils.
