Frogspawn, out all day, in all night.

My frogspawn retracts during the day when the lights are on but expands nicely at night when the lights are off. I only have PC-R lighting in a 29g Biocube, I have him up pretty high. Any thoughts.

PS: I also have a Hammer at the same height and he loves it.

Is it a new addition or one you have had for a while? If new, it should adjust soon enough. Could try moving it to the bottom of the tank while it adjusts to your lights.

I meant to say in the heading "in all day, out all night". And I just figured with only PC lighting it would have to be up high

some are finicky. give it time to adjust. i had a frag that did the same thing

I have one happy as a tick about 20" down. Seems to be its favorite position under mh 25o 10000k

That seems pretty normal. It took my frogspawn about 2 days to really open up doing my normal photoperiod.
