i have purchased a frogspawn like 3 months ago...he never opened up...he at most came out like 3cm....what can i do ?
he has alot of light and medium flow...

Is it close to anything that can harm it, or is there a lot of space inbetween another?

Mine has med light, and it still opens up quite wide

I feed it phyto and see the fans stick out to eat ever so often.

Do you have any pictures you can provide us, along with water parameters?
