What is a LFS? I haven't bought anything (except parts, or emergency stuff) in one in many years. The number of folks who buy all their livestock and hardgoods online is growing every day.

Call me old fashioned, I like going and picking out my livestock. I like taking my son to see the fish and such. Just hard to find good ones haha.

I'm starting to trend more and more to this everyday...

I like hand-picking fish as well, but have to drive so far to find a good selection that I end up spending $120.00 in gas to hand pick a fish that may end up with issues when I get home regardless of the LFSs QT practices and seeing the fish eat before I buy it. Online 14 day guarantees take out allot of the risk. I'd rather pay postage than pay for a full tank of gas anyday. LOL...

I have EIGHT lfs around me. When I'm ready to purchase a fish I would make a trip to all of them and then end at home. Of the eight, I only trust one - the one that looks at me like I'm an idiot and don't really want to sell me things . The other seven puts a happy smile at all times and will sell me anything and are always ready to bag with a net in their hands lol
