I would like to add a fromia milleporella to my tank. I am wondering how long I should wait. I bought this tank used, the rock is about 2 years old, I changed the substrate when I moved the tank to my house on July 10 of this year. I moved all the rock in trashcans full of water so I never saw a spike. My parameters are as follows:
salinity 35ppt (sg 1.0264)
calcium 450-500
alk 3.0-4.0 meq/l
nitrate .2ppm
ph 8.2-8.3 (ph probe on order as I don't trust the test kit for accuracy)
temp 75.9-76.8
orp 325-380mv (occasionally drops to 300 if I feed the CBB heavily w/mysis)
I recently had a diatom bloom caused by faulty di on the ro but this has been rectified
