i have a 4x2x2 tank with overflow on the right hand of the tank no matter how i place the Wp40 and Wp60 i cannot get the crazy flow needed by the sps and i kept getting cynaos.

Any one can share some light here please ?

That's crazy.. I have a single one in my 4ft tank and it's a beast, sps love it.. Try this setting with the wp60, leave the other one off first. W1, turn the dial all the way to the right and keep it at 100% power.. This should be almost splashing out of your tank.. Another sweet spot on w1 in a 4ft tank is around the 11 o clock spot on the dial, I find I can't handle the splash banging off my euro brace while watching TV tho.

Do u have any video to show what should be the ideal flow for sps ?

im sure others have different opinions on the flow required for reef tanks but in general for me i think a constant random large amount of water moving is much better than crazy high blasting around your tank, if you create a wave with the above settings i think you and your tank will be very happy with the outcome. will it eliminate your cyano.. not sure, usually cyano is nutrient related and low flow is only the factor that really brings it out.

maybe itll take some time for everything to adjust to it.. but if you were seeing great polyp extension before adding the wp-40 and 60, i would try and mimic whatever u had in there previously.

Thanks a lot will monitor

Tagging along, to see what other folks are using. I added a wp-25 to my 40B a couple weeks ago. I noticed improvement in sps PE in just a couple days. I've pretty much been using W2 at about 11 o-clock, angled up. SPS seem happy and my lps aren't getting hammered.

i currently uses 2 wp25 on w1 s2 mode on my 48x24x14".. if on S1, water will spill out, if on else, im afraid the SPS's tissue may tear.. w1 seems to be the best with gentle yet pushing water flow.

i don't sync them, i just put 1 on short pulse and 1 on longer pulse. every few days i switch the pulse on both of them so the colors get a new and different random pulse wave every few days.

do you mean one is W1 and the other on W3?

I have mines in the back top right and a mp40 on ea side in the center 3 inches below the surface. Dimensions of my tank is 48x24x24. Running the wp40 on 20v reef crest mode. Mp40s are at 75-80%.
