FS: 4 x 55g plastic drums - Could be used for water storage...

Was going to use them but then decided, as usual not to. Not to mention my wife is rolling her eyes when I told here I may sell them. (She gets irked when I buy something and don't use it. I told her my plans changed.)

They are blue and have 2 bung's on top. Each drum basically contained soapy water for cleaning. I was told to rinse them out with water a few times, then use bleach, then rinse again. Put a spigot from USPlastics.com on them and you can lay them sideways for water storage. Asking $20 ea.

If I make it to the meeting, I can bring some. I can post pics later as I am at work at the moment.

James, I might be interested in one of those... I was just looking at one at a store here and thought they would be great for water storage... Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to use it now, but hope to have a use for it when I get a house someday. BTW, when is the next meeting, I haven't been notified.

Neither have I. It should be posted, not PM'd. I don't understand this group. I found a more active one here in MN, albeit it is relatively the same distance. No matter, we have a meeting coming up on the 28th.

I will save you a barrel if you want.

Those would be cool but I'd have no where to put it in my place.. Man I need more room..

Mike - I haven't heard anything about the next meeting. Fargo is supposed to host, one of the guys at the last meeting was going to host..

Well, if you guys want the barrels, they aren't going anywhere. I will indeed post apic when it stops raining, maybe this weekend. I am trying to figure a way to use them, but I just don't need them for my system. If you guys end up not wanting them, I may cut em inhalf and collect gutter water from the downspouts to use for my garden.

For anyone interested in the plastic drums, I will always take trades!! Actually, I prefer trades over cash!!
