I have a 5" purple tang over at Tinytool's house that I am selling. I've had it for about 3 years and it has always done well. Here's a description of it on Dr. Fosters. Let me know if you're interested. $50, pickup at Tinytool's in DSM.

Here's a picture of him in my old tank.

If Jeremy doesnt get it I'll take it...he only wants it cause I told him I wanted one

LOL! Sucks to be you.

;)

^^^---- Yeah usually, You sure you can put all those tangs together....I'd seriously look it up before you get that tang home, that PBT is a very mean fish when he's pi$$ed. I watched him chase a copperband around the tank at about a hundred miles an hour and then he ripped my net when he i finally caught him.

I am pretty sure as long as they don't have the same body style you are good. If it don't work he can go to your house.

Cool, hope he works out. I'm not sure how it works, I know some of them don't do the same body style and I think it's also which ocean they come from.....or you can pull a Jason White and just wing it and buy the pretty one.

Aren't purples one of the more agressive tangs? What ever happens, I think it'll work out in the end. They might fight the first week or 2, but they'll work it out.

kind of like me and jason?

;)

That PBT can be pretty aggressive! It pretty much killed my Flame angel I bought.

I would suggest putting the new tang in when the lights are out and leave them off for at least a good 12 hours. That's what I did with the hippo and I never had a problem with those 2.

I kept a blue, yellow, purple and a Red Sea Desjardini sailfin tang in the same tank with no issues. :D

Sone forgot to mention... there is also an Ouverson tax that I unfortunately have to put on the fish... last time I checked the tax was a 150% of the selling price...

Correction. The tangs will be donated to Jeremy for a case study on the adaptability of multiple tangs one tank. ;)
