FS EuroReef CS 250

Soaking in vinager to get it clean 2.5 year old EuroReef CS250 I got it new Off of Ebay it has been a great skimmer but I have upgraded and my new one is up and running so old one is up FS asking $300 I will post pictures tomorrow once it is clean. Pick up only for now I have the original box the skimmer came in for packing.

How did you clean the inside of your skimmer?

Soaked it in Vinegar overnight. Soft plexiglass scrub pad. coraline and algea comes right off with no effort.It helps that skimmer is big enough to fit your arm in it.

what is the ideal water level to keep this skimmer in.

Skimmer sold long time ago. I had it about 10" of water

got a cs 250 but didnt know wut the ideal water level was, i read that is between 6-8, how did 10 work for you? if you dont mind me asking :hammer:

fo rme the 8" just doesnt pull enough skimmate for me at 9-10" it pulls pretty thick nasty skimmate out... im not running a gate vale mod so i need to have water level good

eldiablosrt8 thank you for the info, i only have space in my sump to raise the skimmer one to one and a half inches so i need to make the baffles the right hight to get the best skimmate but since i bought it use i didnt know the ideal water level, so since they say is from 6-8 and you guys say is 9-10 i think i will go with 8.5 or 9.
