This is a nice piece and a pretty quick growing stag. Don't wait long, it will be gone.

Mine.... :D (I bet that just one of your rare chaeto). Will pick up from you at the meeting. Lets see if my water quality is good enough to keep some rarer stuff. Keeping finger crossed...

I will be selling a 1/32" piece of ultra rare piece of TFP's unknown stag for $30. ;-) The previous clumsy owner pre-fragged the piece for me.. Just kidding....

Nice addition, Minh. Rare/expensive doesn't mean it's harder to keep. Often times, it's a whole lot hardier;)

minh, you got it. i'm gonna swing at the beginning of the meeting to drop this off and pay for jordans fan if he's there.

karl, what algae are you referring to? i'm harvesting a new form of nutrient export :D. honestly, i don't know what it is but its definitely nutrient fueled :(. i've increased my feedings to support a medium blonde naso but she's worth it :D.

hey, did you see that icefire echinata that exoticfrags had for sale? did they get it from you?

I see. I've cut down feeding to once every other day now, and experimenting with a new lighting regimen for the last few weeks. So far, the anthias haven't been affected.

Hector said that he got it from Ben (rxx2), who bought his from James. That's a super good price for it, too.

Too bad that thing was already sold out.:(

Doesn't look the same as mine, though. What do you think?

For some reason, the tips look a little different. I really like the prominent white of rxx2's, though.

It's a very difficult piece to keep, Mark:(

I'll only sell them mounted, as they are extremely poor shippers and don't acclimate well to any changes. Mounted pieces are hardier.

Does this mean that you are selling a frag to Mark? :0

was rxx2 one of the few that it was distributed to? it looks bleached or still coloring up. structurally, it looks more like a bottlebrush but that could be simply due to flow.

Mark,

Someone's picking one up this Saturday. I'll let you know what I have left.

Tim,

You could be right about the flow. Mine gets very little, as I want to keep the branches thin. James only sold it locally, and gave it to less than a handful of people. Not sure how much of it remains, though.

I totally forgot that my pic was in Reefkeeping's Table of Contents this month:

So the aquascene echinata is also known as the ice fire? Mine's looking more like Ben's.

Great to hear from you, Sang! The hobby misses you (or at least collectors like me):( .

It's the same, Xia. With James' permission, I started calling it Icefire. He liked that name a lot, which was a lot better than the other name I was considering:lol:
