my red hermit crab here is about 2 inches... hes huge... needs big tank for home this summer. need to get rid of him because honestly... he is a mean little booger. he killed off my starfish so i am giving him an evictions notice this weekend. he has lots of personality and will really clean up your sandbed otherwise. he doesnt do well with starfish and clams in my own personal eyes. so please... he is FREE for adoption to a good home. you can put him with other crabs but make sure you offer other bigger shells for him to move into as he will grow big by punking other smaller crabs for algae pellets and such. fun to watch survival of the fittest in action!

remember, he is FREE!

okay dont PM me... just hit me up on this thread as a reply hahah =) seriously... all jokes aside... someone has to be able to give this guy a happier home. i dont love him anymore.

Hi Racinghart,

If no one wants it by end of April, I will take it in may. I just started the tank 4 month again and can probably use him. Everything sounded okay except for that "starfish" part. I do plan to put 1 starfish into my tank...

yah you can put him in your sump... do you have a sandbed in there for him to go nuts in? maybe some lighting? i dont want him to be a prisoner in some dark sump hhaha how sad. although he should do time for murder commited in my tank haha

mine climbs up my chaeto and over the baffle sometimes >=O
other than falling over the other side...he keeps the chaeto ball real clean =)

I had one of those and it grew HUGE. Didn't do any harm to my tank either...left my starfish alone. It might have been really hungry. Just recently, I didn't feed my tank for 3 days so all my hermits attacked and ate my maxima. Need to feed these guys...

I had one that got to be the size of my fist. He was cool but a real buldozer in a reef tank. It was amazing the rocks he would move. Also don't put him in with feather dusters.

I dont have sand but I have a ton of rocks/chaeto and I do have a light in my sump. If noone else wants him, I'll take him...LMK
