FS Ice Cap 660 and SVHO actinics

I got my 14K bulbs in and don't need the actinics any more. Selling the ballast, bulbs, waterproof end caps and wiring harness. 1 bulb is 2 1/2 years old and the other is less than a year. Gives a nice blue to the water. Pix of the coloration are in my gallery.

$150 OBO for the set up.

I was told or read som where you are supposed to replace the VHO Actinics every six months.. lol

Maybe if they are your primary lighting. I just used them for supplemental lighting. There is also a thread out there about a scientist who uses a regular output florescent bulb and over drives it. They last 5+ years.

Blubs are 72" with built in reflectors.
