Just a personal preference. I decided that I like the way that my mixed reef responds to just the two tunze 6025's and the flow from my sump.

LOL, that's just dust. For some reason the flash really makes it stand out. I tried cleaning it off with a q-tip, but there was still enough to show up in the picture.
