Beautiful Purple-tip anemone with bright yellow center (looks like a daisy). Need to get rid of him because my tank is getting too full and he is getting too big.

I made him shrink up so you could see the center (sort of)...

Yeah I think Aquarium Arts sells them for $8-$10. Who did you buy it from? They are Atlantic anemones that clown fish don't host in naturally. Though I did have a tank long ago with a big condy in it that perc hosted in.

I'm gonna keep him then. I'll just put him in my 29 gallon. The only reason I was looking to get rid of him is because he was getting too big and taking up too much room. I would have spent $50 cause I think he's beautiful.

I'm not trying to knock it at all it is one of the best looking condys I've ever seen, I am just shocked that someone sold it to you for that much.

It's okay... I'm glad we had this conversation cause I really didn't want to get rid of him. I completely forget about my 29 gallon. I'll just have to test the water and make sure it's okay (it has been cleared of all fish and everything for some time now)

Yeah really in the future ask for some recommendations for the drive to Fin and Friends from your house you could be going to much better priced stores in your area. If they are charging that much for a condy they are probably overcharging for everything else. Condylactis are probably the most tolerant of water quality and lighting of any of the anemones too.

I heard condylactis anemones can actually tolerate cigarette smoke and can also become addicted to nicotine and violence. They also fancy leather jackets with way too many zippers. :D

Is there any reason that you place your gorgonian that high? They are not photosynthetic and don't like strong currents... I may be wrong tho.

It seems to like it best there. I put everything where it seems to like best regardless of the standards. The only thing I seem to be having trouble with is the bigger piece of star polyps that I have... but I think that is because it keeps falling. Keep the suggestions coming cause it sucks to be a noob... lol.
